Time really flies…I was just alerted via email from Kickstarter that it was exactly 1 year ago today that we reached our goal and successfully funded this campaign to get my new film Self-Taught launched.
And what a year it’s been! Thanks to you and the generosity of countless other supporters far and wide, I’ve spent the last 12 months filming and gathering material for the film and I’m happy to say that I’m about 90% done with the production.
There’s still much to do of course. My plan is to spend most of January editing and digging through what I’ve amassed. At that point it will become clear what else needs to be filmed and I’ll have a better idea of the structure if the film and so on. As I’ve mentioned before on the blog, my goal is to get the film finished and ready for release by December 2018, so barring any unforeseen circumstances, I seem to be on track.
Thanks again for making this all possible. I really appreciate your continued support and I look forward to sharing some clips from the film with you soon.
